Martin "Deficio" Lynge is the former Manager/Coach for Ninjas in Pyjamas. He is now a full time caster.

Biography

Deficio is a League of Legends player from Skanderborg, Denmark. Among the first games he played were Heroes of Might and Magic III and Age of Empires II. He then continued with Football Manager and World of Warcraft.

After getting tired of WoW, his friends decided to explore League of Legends and introduced Deficio to it.

Deficio previously played mid lane for XL, Team FragZone and Team SharkGaming before moving on to form Copenhagen Wolves. He initially started out as the manager for said team, but after the departure of XL Winner right before the Season 3 qualifiers, he picked up the support role alongside AD Carry player TheTess. The roster eventually left to become Ninjas in Pyjamas.

On November 3rd, 2013, Deficio would post the anticipated new lineup for NiP and announce that he would step down from the player roster to take up a managerial/coaching position within the team.[1]

On January 13th, Deficio announced his retirement from coaching position with NiP in order to pursue a fulltime caster career. He casted his first match at the EU LCS 2014 Spring Split on January 14th.[2]

On May 5th 2014, Deficio officialy changed his twitter handle to RiotDeficio.[3]

On June 2nd 2015, Riot announced that Deficio will be suspended from on-air duties until Week 4 of LCS, withdrawn from the casting desk for all Copenhagen Wolves games on an indefinite basis and restricted from being a Team Member of any LCS team for the rest of the 2015 season and the entirety of the 2016 season due to violation of Riot and LCS Rules.[4]
