H2k-Gaming is a professional gaming organization based in London, UK. The organization currently sponsors teams for League of Legends and Infinite Crisis.

History

On July 23rd, 2014, it was announced that H2k-Gaming violated Riots Challenger Series rules by unsportsmanlike behavior when they failed to play their best and promptly end the game, as a result H2k-Gaming was fined $300 USD.[1]

On August 6th, 2014, it was announced that H2k-Gaming violated the Riot Challenger Series rules by not fielding a full roster for their 3rd place match in the 2014 EU Summer Series #2. H2k-Gaming was penalized with a prize money deduction of $750 USD.[2]

The team competed in the Spring Expansion Tournament, and qualified for the Offline Stage after beating Meloncats. In the Offline Stage, H2k won their first matchup against n!faculty, meaning they were one win away from the LCS. The team went on to beat GIANTS! Gaming in the Winner's Bracket Final, meaning they will be playing in the 2015 Spring Split.

Season 5

In their first split in the LCS, the team started with Odoamne, loulex, Ryu, Hjarnan and Voidle. After 3 weeks and a 1-2 standing, the team replaced Voidle with kaSing. The team then ended the round robin stage with a 12-6 standing, placing at 3rd. In the playoffs, the team got seeded against Copenhagen Wolves whom they defeated in a 3-0 victory. In the semifinals, however, the team lost to Fnatic (2-3) but won against SK Gaming (3-2) in the 3rd place match.

H2k went on to Summer Split with the same roster and finished the regular split at 3rd place (11W-7L). However, prior to the playoffs, the team signed another Jungler, betongjocke. In the playoffs, the team faced and beat GIANTS! Gaming (3-0) in the quarterfinals but lost to Origen (1-3) in the semifinals. They found themselves playing for the 3rd place match again, which they won over Unicorns of Love (3-0).

With enough Championship Points earned, the team qualified for the 2015 World Championship as the 2nd seed from the European region. They were then grouped against SK Telecom T1, EDward Gaming and Bangkok Titans, and failed to make it out after dropping 4 out of their 6 games. Following Worlds was IEM X Cologne but prior to this tournament, loulex has already left the team and kaSing has announced his free agency. The team then signed VandeR, Jankos and FORG1VEN for IEM. At the tournament, the team finished at 3rd-4th place after winning over Cloud9 (2-1) but losing against Korean team Ever (1-2) in the semifinals.

Season 6
On December 23rd, 2015, FORG1VEN joined the roster as the starting AD Carry this time. They went on through the 2016 Spring Split with Odoamne, Jankos, Ryu, FORG1VEN and VandeR in their lineup. In Spring, the team finished 2nd in the round robin stage and 4th in the playoffs after losing to Origen (2-3) in the semifinals and losing the 3rd place match to Fnatic (2-3).

FORG1VEN left after the playoffs and so the team signed Freeze for the Summer Split. However, due to Freeze's wrist injury, he had to be replaced for the rest of the season. Fortunately, FORG1VEN re-joined the team after parting ways with Origen. The team then finished 4th in the round robin stage with a 7-6-5 standing. The team qualified for the playoffs finishing 3rd after beating Fnatic (3-0) in the quarterfinals, losing to Splyce (2-3) in the semifinals and winning over Unicorns of Love in the 3rd place match. The team qualified for the 2016 World Championship as 2nd seed from the points they have earned from the Spring and Summer split.

At Worlds, the team was grouped against EDward Gaming, ahq e-Sports Club and INTZ e-Sports. They managed to make it out as the first seed after beating EDward Gaming in the tiebreaker match. They were then seeded against Wildcard team Albus NoX Luna in the quarterfinals and won the series 3-0. However, the team lost to Samsung Galaxy (0-3) in the semifinals, ending their run at 3rd-4th place.

On November 3rd, FORG1VEN announced his free agency. Freeze then left the team on November 22nd and it was announced that Odoamne and Jankos renewed their contracts. On December 1st, the team announced the departure of Ryu, who will be replaced by Febiven as the starting Mid laner. Days after, VandeR was also released and on December 14th, the team announced that they have signed 2 Koreans, Nuclear and Chei to man their botlane.
