Biography

Season 2

inSec played competitively for the first time during NLB Spring 2012 as part of Team Bubble. The team won the tournament with a 3-0 sweep in the finals. inSec then joined CJ Entus in August of 2012. Their first success at a tournament was at the CPL Shenyang 2012 Qualifiers where the team finished 2nd, losing to MVP White in the finals. CJ Entus would then attend IEM Season VII - Cologne but failed to win the event, getting knocked out by Fnatic in the Semifinals. His final tournament with CJ was at NLB Winter 2012-2013 where they placed 2nd, losing to GSG 2-3 in the Finals.

Season 3

inSec left CJ Entus and joined KT Rolster Bullets in February of 2013. Their first major success was their 1st place finish at the 2013 MLG Winter Championship International Exhibition where they defeated Gambit Gaming 2-1 in the finals. They would also place 3rd at NLB Spring 2013, defeating SKT 3-2 in the 3rd place match and also placed 1st at the Asian Indoor-Martial Arts Games 2013, taking down Team WE in the finals. KT Bullets would then make an effort to qualify for Worlds. They were able to place 2nd at the HOT6iX Champions Summer 2013, which qualified them for the Season 3 Korea Regional Finals. Despite their best efforts however, they finished 2nd at regionals and weren't able to qualify for Worlds.

Season 4

KT Bullets got a couple of 3rd place finishes first at PANDORA.TV Champions Winter 2013-2014 where they beat NaJin White Shield in the 3rd place match and then at Bigfile NLB Spring 2014 beating SK Telecom T1. inSec's final success with the team was at the IEM Season VIII - World Championship where despite not being heavy favorites, they won the event, defeating Fnatic in a decisive 3-0 sweep. inSec left the KT Bullets in May of 2015 and traveled to China to join Star Horn Royal Club. The team was somewhat inconsistent but still managed to finish 2nd in the 2014 LPL Summer Playoffs. Their strong performance at the Chinese Regionals qualified them for the 2014 World Championship.

At Worlds, they were placed in Group B along with Taipei Assassins, Team SoloMid and SK Gaming. Only dropping a game to Team SoloMid, Star Horn Royal Club advanced to the Quarterfinals where they would face Edward Gaming. After a very close series, they emerged victorious 3-2 and advanced. In the Semifinals they would face off against their other Chinese rivals OMG. In yet another very close and thrilling series, the team defeated OMG and advanced to the finals. Star Horn Royal Club wasn't given much of a chance because their opponent in the finals was the unstoppable Samsung Galaxy White. Despite putting up a good fight and winning a game, they were ultimately defeated and lost 1-3 ending their run in 2nd place.

Season 5

Star Horn Royal Club's performance in the 2015 LPL Spring Season dropped significantly after the team lost Uzi. They performed poorly in the regular season and were forced to play in the Promotion Tournament where they got relegated. Despite this however, the SHRC roster was moved over to Team King. Things didn't go much better for them in Summer though. The team once again performed poorly and in a similar manner to their spring split run, got relegated in the Promotion Tournament. Because of their decline, inSec left the team in December of 2015 and joined Royal Never Give Up in the same month as their secondary jungler.

Season 6

inSec only played in one series against Energy Pacemaker. All during the regular season of the 2016 LPL Spring Split. RNG was able to win the series 2-0 however inSec wouldn't play any other games with them for the rest of the split.
