Christopher "MonteCristo" Mykles is a League of Legends caster for OnGameNet, the co-owner of ggChronicle and previous coach for Counter Logic Gaming.

Monte attended Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland for a year before returning to the United States to continue his studies. He studied Literature. While working at a law firm in New York City, Monte became "obsessed" with League of Legends in its beta phase and subsequently founded ggChronicle to provide a journalism outlet devoted to League eSports.[1]

This was not his first experience with eSports, Monte was previously involved with eSports as a volunteer writer for WCReplays, a Warcraft 3 replays site.[2] He began shoutcasting for WCReplays with Phreak and attests that casting came naturally due to his many years of stage performance.[3] During his involvement with Warcraft 3 he managed a professional team with Verge Gaming and joined the Team Sportscast Network, a now defunct eSports shoutcasting organization.[4][5]

Subsequently he accepted a full-time contract casting position at OnGameNet.[6] Since July 24th, 2013 he has been coach for CLG, aswell as continuing to cast for OnGameNet.[7]

Since 5th September MonteCristo stopped coaching CLG, with Zuna taking his place.
