+ | ==Biography== |
||
+ | Alvar "Araneae" Martín Aleñar is a League of Legends player from Mallorca, Spain. His first overall gaming experience was Street Fighter (on the SNES platform). DOOM was the first PC game he played. From there he moved on to play Counter-Strike, Smash Bros Brawl and Defense of the Ancients (DotA); he started to play League of Legends when one of his friends saw him playing a DotA tournament. |
||
+ | Aleñar's competitive League of Legends career began in May 2010, when he joined the team Dimegio Club, where he played with future star players nRated, Wickd, and ocelote. He stayed with the roster through their acquisition by SK Gaming, but then left in March 2011 to join Team Dignitas EU; however, the team disbanded the next month. Aleñar played for several teams over the next few years, including Wizards e-Sports Club, MeetYourMakers, Natus Vincere, and SK Gaming. |

Biography[]
Alvar "Araneae" Martín Aleñar is a League of Legends player from Mallorca, Spain.
Aleñar's competitive League of Legends career began in May 2010, when he joined the team Dimegio Club, where he played with future star players nRated, Wickd, and ocelote.
In January 2013 Aleñar joined Team ALTERNATE, where he played in the summer split of the Season 3 European LCS. A year later, he left ALTERNATE to join Millenium, where he played in the spring split of the 2014 European LCS. After the spring split, he left the team and became the coach of Fnatic. On October 10, Aleñar left Fnatic.
Araneae joined Spanish team Baskonia eSports in January 2016 as their head coach.
He then went on to join Origen in July 2016 as their head coach.[34]
