The LDL (LoL Development League) is the new secondary league in China. The league will replace the LSPL and TGA starting with the 2018 Season. This new secondary league expands to 4 regional divisions within China and 32 teams in total.

32 teams participate.
- 4 Groups based on the location. 8 teams in one group.
- 11 teams from 2017 LSPL Summer Season and 1 wildcard team will separate into 4 regions averagely.
- 20 teams from 2018 LDL Spring Promotion, 5 from each region.
Double Round Robin in each region group.
- North Region will be hosted in Beijing.
- East Region will be hosted in Nanjing, Jiangsu.
- South Region will be hosted in Guangzhou, Guangdong
- West Region will be hosted in Chongqing.
All matches are best of three
1st - 2th place advance to Spring Playoffs
3rd - 5th place qualify for the Summer Season
6th - 7th place drop to Summer Promotion
8th place is automatically relegated
