Biography[]
Carlos Taype was born and raised in Colombia, where he still resides. He has been playing video games since he was seven years old and has been playing League of Legends since Season 1. He was first exposed to League of Legends through friends at a local PC cafe in Season 1. While not initially impressed with the game, after seeing the Season One Championship, he became interested in competitive play and began to take the game and competitive play seriously.
League of Legends Career[]
In Season 2, irvintaype joined a team led by Wikko and Lulos that was actively recruiting other Colombian players. This team would become Dash9 Gaming. After competing with Dash9 Gaming for almost two years, irvintaype left to become the midlaner for Tesla Gaming in July 2014.
Trivia[]
- Is interested in law and cinema and has stated that after retiring from the competitive scene, he wants to study law or film.
- Has always played mid lane, but if he had to switch, says he would play AD Carry.
- Favorite champion is
Heimerdinger. - The "irvin" in his summoner name is the name of his older brother, whom he considers a role model.
