Biography[]

Season 3[]

k0u joined his first competitive team, Benched Gaming, part-way through the season. With the team he won cups #147 and #148 of ESL Go4LoL EUW June 2013 before the roster was acquired by Reason Gaming. With the new organization, k0u and the roster went on to win the ESL Go4LoL EUW June 2013 Monthly Final. They also won cup #155 of ESL Go4LoL EUNE August 2013, and came 2nd at Insomnia49 Summer 2013 after losing to Millenium in the tournament's final. He then left the team, joining SUPA HOT CREW a few months later.

The team participated in EU LCS Promotion Tournament Qualifier 2, securing a place in the EU LCS Spring Promotion. Despite this, k0u was replaced due to being under the minimum required age to play in the LCS (or an LCS qualifier).

2014 Season[]

At the start of the new season, k0u joined newly formed Cloud 9 Eclipse at the start of the season, and this saw him playing in a roster that included Febiven and Hjärnan. The team's first tournament was the SCAN EUW Winter Invitational. The roster managed to impress from the very start, finishing 1st after beating Gamers2 in the final of the tournament. Hjärnan and the team continued in the same form, winning Challenger Spring #1. Despite their success, k0u decided to leave the team at this point.

A month later, k0u rejoined the team, and went on to win a number of tournaments on the run. The first of these was Week 20 of the EUW Challenger Series, where they beat Departed in the final. Next up was the 2014 Black Monster Cup Europe - Spring, where Cloud 9 Eclipse beat the same roster once again, beating Denial eSports.Europe in the final, after the organization had picked up the roster of Departed. The team also won International Invitational Tournament 3, beating Dark Passage in the final.

k0u and the team also participated in the EUCS Spring Playoffs. They won the tournament, beating Ninjas in Pyjamas in the final. Despite helping the team qualify for the LCS Summer Promotion, k0u left the team soon after.

After k0u had joined a reformed Ninjas in Pyjamas, the team managed to win DreamHack Summer 2014 along with a number of other tournaments. They also achieved a 2nd place finish in both EU Challenger Summer #1 and EU Challenger Summer #2 before k0u's departure.

k0u went on to join Gamers2 in the same month. During his time on the team's roster, he participated in a wide range of tournaments. k0u's first major tournament with the team was the EUCS Summer Playoffs, though the team were knocked out in the quarterfinals of the tournament by the LCS-bound Unicorns Of Love.

2015 Season[]

k0u participated in the Expansion Tournament with Gamers2, who managed to beat Reason Gaming in the seeding game and Team Strix in Round 1. Gamers2 were knocked out in Round 2 after being beaten by n!faculty. Not long after this, k0u decided to leave the team.

After spending time on both BX3 EK and Different Dimension, k0u joined Vortex. He arrived after the second week of the NACS Summer Season, becoming the team's 3rd jungler in as many weeks. With him, the team went 2-4, and their overall record for the season was 2-8, leaving them in 5th place at the end of the split.

2016 Season[]

k0u joined Giants Gaming for the EU LCS 2016 Spring, reaching the LCS for the first time. However, he was replaced by BetongJocke and released after Giants lost their first four games of the season. He then joined Copenhagen Wolves in the EUCS for their last series of the Spring Season. The team had already qualified for the playoffs as the fourth seed and managed to upset first-seeded Millenium in the semifinals, but lost 3-2 to Huma in the finals. This sent them to the elimination round of the EU LCS 2016 Summer Promotion, where they lost another 3-2 series to k0u's old team Giants Gaming, keeping them out of the LCS.

Copenhagen Wolves then disbanded and k0u returned to North America to play for Nova eSports in the NA Challenger Series. The team was competitive for most of the summer split, but floundered with a winless final week to finish third, and were immediately swept by Team Liquid Academy in the playoff semi-finals. Nova almost immediately announced that they would be selling their NACS seed, and k0u left. He then joined the Turkish team Dark Passage in October, and helped them to qualify for IEM Season 11 Gyeonggi as a wildcard team, before being eliminated in the group stage.

2017 Season[]

k0u remained in Turkey and joined new TCL team Galakticos. His first split with the team was mediocre; although they managed to make the playoffs as the sixth seed, they were swept in the quarterfinals by Crew e-Sports Club, and only avoided having to play in the promotion tournament by beating HWA Gaming in the fifth-place match. k0u remained with Galakticos for the summer split, but left the team after a winless fourth and fifth week dropped them into seventh place. He immediately joined another Turkish team, P3P eSports, who were then tied for fourth place. k0u started all of their remaining games and the team held fairly steady, but were surpassed by a surging Team AURORA and fell into fifth by the end of the season. They did still make the playoffs, but lost to Crew e-Sports Club again in the quarterfinals, and were swept by Dark Passage in the fifth-place match, forcing k0u and P3P to play in the promotion tournament. There, they lost to Oyun Hizmetleri 3-1 and were relegated.

End of Career and Death[]

After k0u left P3P, he played sparingly on Norwegian teams throughout 2018 and 2019. On November 12, 2019, his social media accounts posted a link to a lengthy blog post, in which k0u revealed that he was planning to commit suicide. His accounts subsequently posted that the attempt had failed, but on December 1, 2019, he passed away.
