We’re 10 games into the Summer split of LCS and the mid season standings are starting to take shape. Alliance still remains the team to beat in EU, while the race in NA seems to be getting even closer as each week passes. Fnatic have been hoping to return to top form in the past couple weeks, and started off strong in week 4 with a win over SK Gaming. Gambit also found some success during day 1 as they managed to pull their 4th win on the split off of the heavily favored Alliance. Team SoloMid returned to prominence this week as they scored convincing wins over the two-time split champions Cloud 9 and the still-struggling compLexity Gaming. The drama continued when that same Cloud9 managed to beat Team Dignitas in their second meeting of the split, making first place a tie between Team Dignitas, LMQ and Counter Logic Gaming. Each week continues to surprise and upset as we get closer and to the season’s end.
