Biography[]
Canadian player William "Captain Ziploc" Despard was born on October 11, 1992 in Quebec City, Canada. He started gaming when he was eight years old on the Nintendo 64, and began to play PC games a few years later, primarily playing Diablo II. William got into competitive League of Legends play when he attended a LAN in Montreal and decided to make a team of five French Canadian players. Realizing that playing competitively would require them to change their lineup, they picked up two American players, played in challenger leagues, and were picked up by COGnitive. After COGnitive lost in relegations to Curse in the 2014 Spring Promotion tournament, they disbanded, and Ziploc joined Frank Fang Gaming afterwards. On June 29th, 2014, the Frank Fang Gaming roster was acquired by Wazabi Gaming, and Ziploc played there for two months.
