Today in LoL eSports (December 9th, 2013)

Greetings, ladies and gentlemen. I am Adel Chouadria and I will frequently be guiding you through the latest events surrounding the League of Legends scene. Whether it is the latest tournament news, rumors, or events surrounding the League of Legends scene, I will make sure you won't miss a beat of League of Legends action.

Tournament News

  • In the 2014 Season EU Spring Qualifiers, three teams emerged as potential contenders to Ninjas in Pyjamas, SK Gaming, and MeetYourMakers. The first team that made it was the Copenhagen Wolves, as they utterly dominated the competition - not dropping a single round in groups. The second team that made it was SUPA HOT CREW XD, who changed their roster hours before the beginning of the competition. SHC's emergence left Kiedyś Miałem Team and TCM-Gaming fighting for the remaining spot, and KMT ended up victorious.
  • Quantic Gaming will use a different roster in today's ALCS action. This turn of events follows the main squad's rumored departure from American soil, as Locodoco and his teammates were eliminated in the NA LCS Promotion Group Stages. Here is the current state of the competition:

News around the scene

Kev1n, the former SK top laner, is now officially a member of Team Alternate. The news comes after a week of tryouts at the team house, as the team looked to compensate for Kerp's switch to the mid lane.

The Rumor Mill

  • Kazmitch, one of the players reportedly enrolled in Evil Geniuses (by Thunderbot), may not be part of the final roster. A Czech website reported that Nyph may be EG's choice for the support position, and that the Czech player would be a temporary substitute during the Battle of the Atlantic event.

That was Today in LoLeSports. Thank you for reading and make sure to stay tuned for our next recap!
