Astralis is a European team.

History[edit]

Astralis is a Danish player-owned organization founded in 2016 as a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team by the former all-Danish roster of Team SoloMid. After winning two CS:GO majors, the organization was rumored to be joining the EU LCS as part of the 2019 European franchise program.[1] It was later reported that Astralis' parent company RFRSH Entertainment had acquired Origen and would use their name and brand for their EU LCS entry.[2]

Trivia[edit]

  • Their CS:GO squad was voted "Esports Team of the Year" at the Esports Awards in 2018.[3]
