Billy "BillyBoss" Yu was previously a substitute top laner for Counter Logic Gaming.

BillyBoss became the starting top laner for Vortex prior to the second week of the Summer 2015 NACS. The team finished the season in fifth place at 2-8 and was forced to play in the 2016 CS Spring Qualifier.

2016 Season

In January 2016, BillyBoss joined Team Dignitas as a substitute top laner, not expected to start in any games in the LCS. However, after the first week of play starting top laner Smittyj was removed from the roster, and BillyBoss became the starting top laner for the rest of the season. The season turned out to be the worst in the organization's history, and after sitting in a relegation position for the entire second half of the split, they moved into tenth in the last week. In the Promotion Tournament, Dignitas lost 3-0 to Team Dragon Knights and were relegated to the NACS. Instead of playing in the NACS, Dignitas transferred their seed to Apex Gaming, and all members of the team, including BillyBoss, left.
