The Access Tournament (Portuguese: Torneio de Acesso) is the qualifier for the Brazilian Challenger Circuit. Four teams from open qualifiers play for two spots in the Promotion Series.

Format[edit]

  • Three open qualifiers
  • Ranking based on the points awarded at each qualifier
  • Four teams qualify for deciders:
    • Winners of each qualifier
    • Top team from points ranking that hasn't won a qualifier
  • Deciders' seeds determined by the position of the teams in the ranking: 1st vs 4th, 2nd vs 3rd
    • In case of ties in points, the tiebreaker criteria is:
    1. Total of qualifiers the team was part of
    2. Total of games the team played in all qualifiers
    3. Bo1 tiebreaker match
  • Deciders are best of five
  • Winners of the deciders qualify to BRCC 2017 Split 2 Promotion
