Biography[edit]
Brunch hails from San Diego, California in the USA. He started playing League of Legends during the original Beta test. He started out in the FPS gaming community. His first competitive experience in LoL was when he subbed for Counter Logic Gaming Black during NESL matches. Abe "Ellie Beee" Nguyen asked Brunch to join a team with Tyler "Lautemortis" Nicholls. As a result, The Brunch Club, formerly known as SSSWL18, was created. The roster was picked up to become compLexity Gaming. Josh with his team's new brand were able to win a spot to play in the Spring season of the new Season 3 professional league, Riot League Championship Series.
At the end of the season, on April 19, 2013, it was announced that a player from the LCS would be retiring. A tweet revealed that Brunch Ü was planning to move on because he doesn't enjoy sitting down for 8-10 hours a day to play one game, taking on a full-time job at his age, and having to read the trash-talk about him.[7]
August 4 Brunch tweeted that he is back in competitive League of Legends. [8]
Trivia[edit]
- Brunch is 6'5" (1.98m)
- Called a god by Doublelift for his Shen play
- Tyler "ecKo" Orr, Luis "Lapaka" Perez and Josh "brunch Ü" Abrantes are acquaintances from the same game, Soldier Front, before playing League of Legends. [9]
