Biography[edit]
2016 Season[edit]
Clid joined Newbee Young in January of 2016. The team had a mediocre showing during the 2016 LSPL Spring Season, finishing 6th during the regular season and missing out on playoffs. During the 2016 LSPL Summer Season, however, the team dominated the league and finished 1st in both the regular season and playoffs, qualifying for the LPL. Because the Newbee organization already had a team in the LPL, the Newbee Young team had to change organizations. They rebranded to QG Reapers.
2017 Season[edit]
Clid remained on QG Reapers for the 2017 LPL Spring Season and started for every game except one. The team placed 3rd in their group, but in playoffs lost 2-3 to I May in the first round. In May 2017, JD Gaming acquired the team's roster and LPL spot. Although Clid remained with the team, he split play time with the team's other jungler, Xinyi, and only played for a few games of the 2017 Demacia Cup and 2017 LPL Summer Season. JD Gaming had poor showings in both tournaments, finishing 11th-12th in the former and 5th in group in the latter. They also placed 2nd at the National Electronic Sports Tournament 2017, although Clid did not play in that tournament. At the end of the season, Xinyi left the team, but the team picked up rookie jungler xiaohan as a replacement to share play time with Clid.
Trivia[edit]
- Speaks Chinese fluently.
- Once when Faker and Clid had an interview together for SK Telecom T1, he amazed Faker by answering all the questions in Chinese instead of Korean.
