Biography[edit]

2017 Season[edit]

After getting his start playing for several teams in the NA Challenger Series Qualifiers, Dhokla joined Australian team Sin Gaming for OPL 2017 Split 2, replacing fellow American top laner Flaresz. Sin was sorted into Group B, and finished second in their group, but only fourth in the overall standings. In the playoffs, they defeated Avant Gaming 3-2 in the first round, but were swept by Chiefs Esports Club in the second round, ending their season. Dhokla left the team in October.

2018 Season[edit]

For 2018, Dhokla was picked up by the newly formed OpTic Gaming to play for OpTic Gaming Academy. The academy team got off to a middling 4-6 start in the spring split, but with the main team struggling, Dhokla was moved to the LCS roster to start Week 6 of the LCS split, replacing zig. This failed to create any lasting change, and the main team finished 5-13, in 9th place, with the academy team also ending up in ninth with a 6-12 record.

Despite his spring results, Dhokla was named OpTic's starting top laner for the summer season. However, he split time with Allorim over the first four weeks, and the team started out 2-6, which left them tied for last place. However, with Dhokla now starting every game, OpTic reversed that total by going on a four-game winning streak to reach an even win/loss record. They maintained that pace over the final three weeks of the season, ending up with a 9-9 record. Unfortunately, four other teams posted 10-8 records, so OpTic was left in seventh place, missing out on playoffs once again.

2019 Season[edit]

Dhokla remained with OpTic for 2019. However, he was benched for the first week of the spring split along with his teammates Meteos and Big for unspecified disciplinary reasons. Dhokla returned for Week 2, and OpTic managed to push through a 2-2 record through the first two weeks. Meteos, Big, and bot laner Arrow all rejoined the LCS roster in Week 3, but the team immediately nosedived with four straight losses. Although they did recover and remained in the playoff picture until the final day of Week 9, OpTic never seriously challenged the top of the league and ended up in eighth with a 7-11 record.

OpTic made no roster changes during the midseason break and came out of the gate hot in the summer split, posting a 4-0 record over the first two weeks, albeit against weak opponents. Losses against frontrunners Team Liquid and Cloud9 in Week 3 brought OpTic back to earth, and they slowly drifted lower and lower in the standings, only managing four additional wins over the rest of the split. However, unlike the previous summer, OpTic's 8-10 record was good enough to force a three-way tiebreaker for the final playoff spot with Golden Guardians and 100 Thieves. OpTic rose to the challenge, beating both teams, and securing their first playoff spot as a franchise. OpTic's best season came to an end quickly after that as they were dispatched 3-0 by CLG in the playoff quarterfinals, ending up without enough championship points to play in the Regional Finals.

2020 Season[edit]

In the off-season, OpTic rebranded to Immortals, and Dhokla left the team and joined TSM Academy. TSM.A finished 10-8 in the spring season, good enough for fourth place. In the playoffs, they swept 100 Thieves Academy in the quarterfinals, but fell 3-1 to eventual champions Cloud9 Academy in the semifinals. Dhokla played in every game for the academy team, and was not called upon by the LCS squad.
