Edmund "EHomda" Hom is a League of Legends esports player who was previously a substitute mid laner for University of British Columbia.
Edmund "EHomda" Hom was born and raised in San Francisco, California. He became invested in StarCraft at the age of 10. The next game he placed his free time was Counter-Strike 1.6 when he was 14, and then he went on to play MOBAs DoTA and HoN. Hom began playing League of Legends because his friends from Heroes of Newerth and Defense of the Ancients were playing. He joined League during Season 1, playing mainly solo queue and maining mid lane, since that role had always been his favorite since previous MOBA games.
In Season 2, Hom start playing with online friends' teams such as Im Going In and Cheater Chans, expanding to different roles, including AD Carry, for them. In June 2012, he and a group of friends formed a ranked team that would be come The Salad Bar. Edmund was originally the top player but transitioned to his favorite mid lane. The team gained online notability leading the team to be more competitive. They then qualified to play for spots in both the Spring and Summer Season 3 League Championship Series; however, they did not win a chance to play in the league. In June 2013, The Salad Bar was acquired by Aware Gaming, but the roster disbanded shortly after. Hom's primary claim to fame is from playing almost exclusively normal games, and he has one of the highest normal MMRs out of anyone in the NA server.
