Biography[]
2015 Season[]
Lee "IgNar" Dong-geun joined Winterfox in January 2015, as a substitute for the support role. He left in May, without ever starting in a competitive match for them. A week after leaving Winterfox, he joined Incredible Miracle to replace TusiN, who was moved to jungle. The team had to play in the Champions Summer Promotion Tournament and they ended up qualifying for SBENU Champions Summer 2015 after going 2-0 against Winners and Anarchy. IM placed ninth in the regular season of Champions Summer and were forced to play in the LCK 2016 Season Spring Promotion. Incredible Miracle played the Dark Wolves in the promotion tournament and beat them 3-1 to requalify for the LCK.
2016 Season[]
IM competed in the 2015 LoL KeSPA Cup where they lost 2-1 against the Jin Air Green Wings in the first round. IgNar left IM to join KT Rolster on December 2. However, he only started for the team in three games of the LCK before departing the team in March.
Ignar then was reported to have tried out for TSM's open support position but was rejected due to insufficient English skills. He would later announce that he was joining Misfits Gaming to compete in the EUCS Summer Season. The team finished first in both the regular season and the playoffs and qualified for the EU LCS 2017 Spring.
2017 Season[]
Misfits ended the spring season at 3rd place in Group A with a 8-5 score and 4th place in playoffs. In EU LCS 2017 Summer, Misfits had a 6-7 score in Group A and placed 3rd in the regular split. The team then defeated Unicorns Of Love and Fnatic with two 3-0 in the playoffs, losing to G2 Esports.
In Worlds 2017, Misfits was placed in Group D, alongside Team WE, Team SoloMid, and Flash Wolves. The team surpassed everybody's expectations and made it out of groups stage with a 3-3 score and a tiebreaker win against TSM. In the quarterfinals, Misfits was placed against tournament favorite SK Telecom T1. The team ultimately lost with a 2-3 score but won the heart of many fans for their unconventional picks. Shortly after Worlds, Ignar announced that he would be leaving the team after the All-Stars event.
2018 Season[]
Ignar join LCK team bbq Olivers with G2's previous jungler Trick. bbq Olivers placed 8th in the LCK 2018 Spring and last in the LCK 2018 Summer, with a disappointing 6-12 and 2-16 score. The team then lost both games in the LCK 2019 Spring Promotion against DAMWON Gaming and MVP, resulting in bbq Olivers demoting into CK 2019 Spring.
On November 19 2018, Ignar announced that Trick and him would be leaving the team.
2019 Season[]
Ignar returned to Europe for 2019 and joined FC Schalke 04 Esports for the first year of the newly formed LEC, along with Odoamne, Memento, and Abbedagge. Schalke started out the spring split strong and looked like a top contender, but collapsed in the second half of the split and finished with a 9-9 record. This forced them to play a tiebreaker with SK Gaming for the final playoff spot, which they lost, ending their season.
Ignar remained with the team for the summer split, and was reunited with his former bbq Olivers teammate Trick, who joined to replace Memento. This time, Schalke had a consistent split, settling into fourth place by the third week and remaining there for the remainder of the season, finishing with an 11-7 record. In the playoffs, they defeated first Team Vitality, then the surprising Rogue, both by 3-1 scores, to earn a chance at playing in the finals, but were immediately swept by Fnatic, leaving them in third place. Their regular-season performance did give Schalke the second seed in the LEC 2019 Regional Finals, but they were swept by Splyce, leaving Ignar short of worlds again. He then left the team in November.
