Fnatic Academy was the academy team of Fnatic.
History[edit]
Fnatic Academy was officially formed in March 2013 by the Fnatic organization to compete in the Season 3 European Challenger Circuit. Fnatic originally announced their intention of forming a second team in late December 2012 after they announced that Rekkles would not be able to compete on the main Fnatic team in the Season 3 European Championship Series. The team existed until April 2013, when they disbanded.
In January 2015, Fnatic once again formed a second team, this time to compete in the 2015 EUCS Spring Qualifier. The initial roster included Kektz, XoYnUzi, avenuee, Scottlol, and NoXiAK, the roster of ranked 5s team PLATINRUSHH.[1] They were knocked out in the semifinals of the tournament by Different Dimension.
2016 Season[edit]
Fnatic Academy was re-created for the 2016 Summer EUCS Open Qualifier, built around support Klaj, formerly the support of the main Fnatic roster.
2019 Season[edit]
On December 12, 2018, it was confirmed that the team will play in the UK League 2019.[2]

- January (approx.), Jens Hofer joins as mental coach.
- January 27, Zhergoth and Wolle join as subs.
- February 6, Dan joins. Broxah leaves and joins Fnatic as starting jungler.[5]
- February 18, Zhergoth moves to starting top laner. Kikis becomes inactive due to health issues.[6]
- February 26, Amazing joins. Kikis moves back to the active roster. Dan and Zhergoth move back to sub.[7]
- February 28, Pandar joins as a sub. Zhergoth leaves.
- April 15, Pandar leaves.
- May 13, Blumigan leaves analyst role.[8]
- May 15, Nisqy leaves.[9]
- May 19, Dan leaves.[10]
- May 22, Garki leaves managerial role.[11]
- May 23, team's EU LCS spot is acquired by Ninjas in Pyjamas.
- May 25, Kubz leaves coaching role.[12]
- May (approx.), Jens Hofer leaves coaching role.
- April 25, team reforms with a new roster. Werlyb, Impaler, SozPurefect, Exork, and Klaj join.
- May 12, team is officially announced. Nuddle joins as coach.[13]
- May (approx.), Werlyb, Impaler, SozPurefect, and Exork leave.
- May 27, Nuddle leaves coaching role.[14]
- November 30, Kikis, Broxah, Nisqy, and MrRalleZ join.
- December 1, Kubz joins as a coach.
