League of Legends

Season 5

GuGer was a trainee for NaJin Black Sword in 2014 when he was scouted by Taipei Assassins. He was signed as the team's starting AD Carry after bebe announced that he is already retiring from competitive play. He played with TPA under the name Lupin in 2015 LMS Spring, finishing 2nd in the round robin stage and qualifying for the playoffs where they ended at 3rd place after losing to ahq e-Sports Club (0-3). The team went on to compete at IEM IX Taipei, finishing at 2nd place after a 2-3 lost against yoe Flash Wolves.

GuGer continued to play for TPA in 2015 LMS Summer but their team failed to qualify for the playoffs, as they finished 5th in the round robin stage. They, however, made it to the 2015 LMS Regional Qualifiers but still failed to qualify for the 2015 World Championship as they lost against Hong Kong Esports (3-2). After the Qualifiers, GuGer decided to part ways with the team and come back to Korea to join Kongdoo Monster as the starting Support. This was also the time when he changed his name from Lupin to GuGer.

Season 6
GuGer and Kongdoo finished 10th in the 2016 LCK Spring and this required the team to go through the Promotion Tournament to secure a spot for the Summer Split. Unfortunately, GuGer and team failed to re-qualify as they lost the series, 1-3, against Challenger team MVP.

They then went on to play in the Challenger league where they finished 2nd in the regular split and 1st in the playoffs after beating SBENU Sonicboom in the Finals. In the 2017 Spring Promotion, GuGer and Kongdoo made sure that they will qualify for the Spring Split, which they did after beating Ever with a 3-1 victory.

GuGer also competed with Kongdoo in the 2016 LoL KeSPA Cup where they finished 2nd and in IEM XI Gyeonggi where they finished 2nd as well. For the 2017 Season, GuGer will continue playing as the starting Support for Kongdoo Monster.
