George "HotshotGG" Georgallidis is a substitute player and owner of Counter Logic Gaming.

Biography

HotshotGG hails from London, Ontario in Canada and has been playing video games from a young age, including Diablo I and Warcraft 2. After picking up DotA, he realized that he truly enjoyed the MoBA genre. When League of Legends was released, HotshotGG started playing it because he wanted to try out more MoBAs. [1] His entry into LoL coincided with him taking a break from college. [2] He decided to drop out of college to pursue a career as a professional League of Legends player. [3] He later created the Counter Logic Gaming organization, which currently sponsors one League of Legends team. On May 19th, 2012, HotshotGG switched from top lane to the jungle position following the departure of their long time jungler Saintvicious. However, as of October 22nd of 2012, HotshotGG moved back to the top lane after roster changes. On May 26th of 2013, HotshotGG stepped down from being the Top Laner for CLG, and was replaced with Nientonsoh.[4]
