IEM Season VIII - Sao Paulo is the fifth event of IEM Season VIII (fourth with LoL involved), organized by ESL. It will take place at the Campus Party 2014 technology festival and LAN Party in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Overview

The English stream will be cast by Jason Kaplan, Brandon "Saintvicious" DiMarco and Andrew "Spuddington" Spurrier with Paul "ReDeYe" Chaloner as the host.[1]

The Portuguese stream will be cast by LeonButcher, Gruntar and LoLDuBR.[2]

The German stream will be cast by BesserwerdenimRanked.[3]

Format

  • 8 teams
    • 1 slot via poll for Brazilian teams
    • 2 slots via Brazil qualifier
    • 3 slots via LatAm qualifiers
    • 1 slot via poll for EU LCS teams
    • 1 slot via poll for NA LCS teams
