Overview[]

The IGN Proleague Killing Spree was a weekly online showmatch for high Elo North American teams. A team can earn a bonus if they go on a Killing spree (win for >3 weeks) or if they take out the team with a Killing Spree. Main casters for the matches are HatPerson and Baron but sometimes Dan Dinh joins them in the San Francisco studio as a guest comentator.

Format[]

Each week we will have a reigning champion playing against a brand new challenger in a best of 3, 5 vs. 5 on Summoner's Rift. The built-in Draft Mode will be used for picks and bans, with 3 bans per team. The first team to win 2 games will be named the King of the Hill or Champion and earn themselves $300 and the chance to play again the following week. If a single team wins three weeks in a row, they will start a Killing Spree, and will earn an additional bonus prize of $100 AND have a $100 bounty placed on their heads.

1 Curse was not able to play during Week 3 - the winner between Epik Gamer and RFLX Gaming plays Curse Gaming in Week 4.
2 Week 12 was replaced with a showmatch between Team SoloMid and Team Dignitas as a warm up to IPL4.
3 One of FXOpen's players was experiencing connection issues during Game 2, so the remaining games were postponed until the next day. Game 2 would be remade with the same picks and bans.
