Angelo "anjo" Joshua Cortez was previously the support for Rock Bottom Gorillas.

Biography

Angelo "anjo" Cortez started playing computer games with cousins when he visited his family in the Philippines every summer. The first MOBA he was introduced to was DotA, and when he searched for alternative games in the summer of 2009 he found League of Legends and began playing during its beta.

League of Legends Career

In December 2012, anjo briefly played for a team called Severity Gaming, but that same month he was invited to become the starting support for Team Dynamic along with Shiphtur to fill the holes left in the roster by the departure of zig and ParadoXical. He stayed with the team through two name changes: first to Good Game University and then to Team Coast.

With Coast, anjo played in the first-ever LCS split, but at the end of the first week he was replaced on the starting roster by Bloodwater. After playing for Coast, anjo briefly was a member of Team TowerDiveTV.

Trivia

  • "Anjo" is the nickname given to him by his family and derives from the first two letters of his first and middle name 'Angelo Joshua'.
