Michael "Imaqtpie" Santana is the bot laner for Meme Stream Dream Team.

Biography

Michael "Imaqtpie" hails from Margate, Florida in the USA. He was initially a midlane player and played for a minor team called Oh God Bears in 2011.

League of Legends Career

Though he did not want to play competitively at first, when he was asked by Scarra to join his team, Imaqtpie joined Rock Solid as their starting AD carry, replacing OXICLEAN. The team went on to win the National ESL Premier League and were subsequently picked up by Team Dignitas. Imaqtpie played with Dignitas as their starting AD carry until October 2014, when he stepped down, presumably to pursue streaming full-time.[1]

Throughout his career on Dignitas, Imaqtpie was known as a competitively strong AD carry, but he was even better known for his streaming personality, from which several community memes originated. On December 15, 2013, he appeared in an episode of Reflections.[2]

Stream Presence

Imaqtpie's stream chat has been the origination point for several community memes, including:

  • "ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ Raise Your Dongers ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ"
  • Dongsquad and Dongsquad 420
  • Book of Dong, a fictional "bible" including teammates and many the phrases he created
  • Spamming "BrainSlug," "FrankerZ," and "Kappa" in Twitch.tv channels

Trivia

  • Known for his CorkiSquare.png Corki play.
  • Famous for picking TwitchSquare.png Twitch and EvelynnSquare.png Evelynn during champion select at tournaments and then switching at the last second.
  • Current champion of flippers360 LAN tournament
  • Came up with the username "Imaqtpie" because his mom says he's cute.
  • Uses Garnier Fructis to maintain his luscious locks of hair, citing the pretty scent as the reason that he feels pretty.
  • Doesn't like wearing shoes.
  • Is known for his Heimerdinger mechanics
  • Described his play style as "mentally challenged" in an interview with SotLTravis.
  • Used to frequently battle Chaox in "subscriber wars" between their Twitch.tv subscribers.
  • His teammates on Team Dignitas often complained about his long hair, with scarra commenting that it's "gross" and "self-replicating" within the Dignitas gaming house.
  • Originally played mid lane during his time on Oh God Bears and is known for being good at ranged champions.
  • Was asked by scarra to join Rock Solid as a substitute for starting top laner Voyboy because Voyboy needed to attend school.
  • Switched to playing AD carry when the current meta of top laner, jungler, mid laner, AD carry and support was first introduced in Season 1.
  • Temporarily transferred one of his accounts to the LAN server on December 29, 2014 because of packet loss/high ping on the NA server due to living on the east coast of the US.
  • Briefly lived in the compLexity team house before the start of the LCS in Season 3.
