Biography[edit]
Jakub "Jactroll" Skurzyński was born on August 5th, 1998. He started his career at Reason Gaming which participated in the Polish ESL League. He went pro when he dropped out of school to join AGO Gaming and move to their gaming house. His family has allways been supportive, by supporting his decision to go pro and regulary visiting his matches. His grandpa is especially famous for supporting him with a huge "Take my Energy" banner at his matches. [1]
2015 Season[edit]
In the second half of the season, Jakub "Jactroll" Skurzyński joined Reason Gaming to participate in the spring and summer season of the Polish ESL League to finish 3rd and 8th respectively. His first tournament win came in September of 2015 with Reason Gaming taking first place at the iTPlanet E-Sports Masters 2015. He left the team at the end of the year to join the Polish team overused.
2016 Season[edit]
He again participated in both spring and summer season of the polish ESL League with his new team overused. Finishing 2nd in spring and 3rd in summer. His team was also able to win the ESPORT NOW 2016 tournament in between spring and summer season. His season ended with a 3rd place at iTPlanet E-Sports Masters 2016. He left the team in November to join Polish AGO Gaming.
2017 Season[edit]
With his new team, he finished 2nd in the polish ESL League, allowing the team to participate in the european Challenger Series Summer qualifier in which they fell short. After finishing 4th in the round robin and 3rd in the playoffs of the rebranded polish league he got picked up by Challenger Series team Giants Gaming. The team consisting of the Rookies Ruin, Jiizuke, Minitroupax, Jactroll and veteran jungler Gilius came first in the Challenger Series Summer Regular Season and Playoffs, earning themselves a shot at promoting to the EU LCS. The team ultimately got promoted to the EU LCS by knocking Schalke 04 outgoing the full length of five games. At the end of the year, he and most of his team except Ruin played for Giants Gaming's sister team Giants Only The Brave winning the Spanish LVP. In December Jactroll and teammates Gilius, Jiizuke and Minitroupax got picked up by the EU LCS organization Team Vitality.
2018 Season[edit]
The often called amazing set of rookies, due to Jactroll and teammates Jiizuke and Minitroupax having their rookie split, showed an aggressive playstyle relying on their three rookies and especially Jactroll's playmaking potential on champions as Thresh. After starting the split 7-1 the team lost out dropping to fourth in Regular Season and finishing the split in fourth in the playoffs losing against Splyce in the third-place match 2-3. In Summer Split his team struggled in the start but reclaimed their playoff spot due to changing junglers from Gilius to Kikis in week 5 and therefore winning all except of one remaining game of regular season and clinching second place, and so the semifinal buy on the back of winning tiebreakers against G2 Esports and Schalke 04. In the semifinals, they fell short to Schalke 04, but beat Misfits to claim 3rd and therefore having enough Championship Points to attend Worlds 2018 as Europes second seed. Being drawn into the "group of death" (group B) with tournament favourite Royal Never Give Up, Korean powerhouse GenG and NA's Cloud9 most experts gave Jactroll's team the outsider role. Surprisingly the team took games off Royal Never Give Up and GenG due to an aggressive early game playmaking by Jactroll on Thresh and Leona. In the end, they still fell short getting out of groups. In November Jactroll re-signed his contract for another two years with Team Vitality. [2]
