Jesper "Jwaow" Strandgren is a retired League of Legends esports player, previously substitute top laner for Wind and Rain.
Jwaow joined his first competitive team, Playing Ducks, mid-way through the season, however he left after a month to join Mebdi's Minions. With his new team, which included YamatoCannon, he played at DreamHack Summer 2012, though the team could not make it out of the tournament's group stage. A few months later, Jwaow left, joining a mousesports roster that also included Rekkles.
With his new team, Jwaow particpated at Tales of the Lane, though they were knocked out in the quarterfinals of the tournament by Eclypsia. While still on mousesports' roster, Jwaow also played for Sju Sjösjuka Sjömän at DreamHack Winter 2012, where the team managed to make it to the semifinals, but were beaten by Fnatic. Back with mousesports, he managed a 1st place finish in EPS Germany Winter 2012, beating n!faculty in the tournament's final. Jwaow left the team at the end of the season.
At the start of the season, Jwaow joined peculiar gaming. With the team he participated in EPS Germany Spring 2013 before finishing in 2nd place in Black Monster Cup #1. During his time on the roster, the team finished 1st in the RoughNeX EUW Cup #3, the EUW Challenger Series Week 2 Cup, Go4LoL EUW Cup #140, and the SteelSeries inLoL.de - Cup. Jwaow's last tournament with the team was SCAN & NVIDIA EUW Invitational, where the team were knocked out by Heimerdinger's Colossi in the semifinals.
Soon after, Jwaow joined TCM Gaming. His first tournament with the team was CyberGamer SteelSeries League of Legends Challenge, where Jwaow and the team finished 2nd, losing to Team Infused in the final. After this, Jwaow subbed in for Heimerdinger's Colossi at DreamHack Summer 2013. Now back with TCM Gaming, Jwaow managed to win the LCS Spring Promotion Qualifier in Tenerife, beating Copenhagen Wolves in the final of the tournament. This qualified the team for the 2014 EU LCS Spring Promotion.
During his time with the team he also participated in the Gamescom Spring Promotion Qualifier, finished 3rd in the International Invitational Tournament 2, and participated in the amateur tournament at IEM Season VIII - Cologne. At the LCS Spring Promotion, Jwaow and the team finished 4th in the Challenger Stage group, meaning they would not make it to the Promotion Stage.
Jwaow left TCM Gaming at the start of the season, joining Gamers2 a month later. During his time on the team's roster, Jwaow participated in, and found success in, a wide range of tournaments. His first notable tournament with the organization was at IEM Season VIII - Sao Paulo, where the team played under the banner of oceloteWorld. Another notable tournament he participated in with the team was the EUCS Spring Series #2. The team later played in the EUCS Summer Series #1 and EUCS Summer Series #2, finishing 3rd in both. This resulted in Gamers2's qualification for the EUCS Summer Playoffs, though the team were knocked out in the quarterfinals of the tournament by the LCS-bound Unicorns Of Love.
Through their Challenger Series performance, Jwaow and the team had also secured a place in the LCS Expansion Tournament. Gamers2 managed to beat Reason Gaming in the seeding game and Team Strix in Round 1, but were knocked out in Round 2 of the online portion of the tournament after being beaten by n!faculty.
Jwaow's last tournament with the Gamers2 organization was the International Invitational Tournament 4. A month later, he joined Planetkey Dynamics, but only stayed with the team for a short time before joining MeetYourMakers to replace Mimer for Week 5 of the LCS Spring Split. The addition of himself, and later NoXiAK, had improved the team's performances considerably, though it was not enough to save the team from autorelegation.
Jwaow joined Elements in May 2015, prior to the start of the Summer Split, as part of a new roster including himself, dexter, Froggen, Tabzz, and promisQ. The split was disappointing for the team, again finishing in 7th place. Jwaow left the team at the end of the season.
