The Professional Video Games League (Spanish: Liga de Videojuegos Profesional or LVP) is an esports events organizer founded in 2011, Spain.

History of LVP[edit]

The LVP was born as an idea of Sergi Mesonero and friends who was audiovisuals professionals to carry out events in the same way that ESL did but with the Hispanic form.

It was like between 2009 and 2010 the incipient LVP began to organize and find founds and partners until in 2011 the LVP is formally launched. In 2013 the first Gamergy was realized and three years later Fandroid and Mediapro allied with the purpose of become the eSports events in Spain in something bigger.

In 2017 LVP and Riot Games Inc. allied for start to organize events in LATAM countries like Argentina. In 2019 the LVP organize the LATAM National Leagues, a group of leagues established in some of the Latin American countries (Argentina, Chile, Mexico, and Colombia) that works like promotion/relegation format for the biggest league in the region, the LLA.

In 2018, it was announced that LVP and Riot Games Inc. would create the LVP UKLC 2019 Spring.
