Martin "Marn" Phan was previously the owner of Team MRN. He was born in Houston, Texas where he went to Dobie High School and currently lives in Santa Monica, California. He started playing games competitively at the age of 11 with fighting games. Had previous tournament experience at MLG Anaheim and TSM Invitationals 6 and 7.

  • He was a highly regarded member of the fighting game pro scene and is most known for killing the competitive scene of a popular fighting game series called "Guilty Gear", when he rigged the brackets.
  • He was the grand champion of the Tatsunoko vs. Capcom tournament at Evolution in 2010. Because Tatsunoko vs. Capcom was not included as a main stage game at Evolution in successive years, he remains the world champion of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.
  • He is well known for his loss at Final Round XIV where he repeatedly lost games in the set due to a "choke."
  • The character Mr. N in the popular fighting game Divekick is based off him.
