Misfits Gaming is a European team. They were previously known as Misfits.
History
Misfits was formed in May 2016 to play in the EUCS Summer Qualifiers after their former parent organization Renegades was banned from competitive play and so could no longer compete under the name Renegades: Banditos. In the qualifiers, they finished first in their group and then defeated EURONICS Gaming 3-1 in the finals to successfully qualify for the Summer Season.
2016 Season
Competing with an initial roster of top laner Alphari, jungler Wisdom, mid laner Selfie, AD carry Hans sama, and support IgNar, the Misfits roster brought a great deal of experience to the table, most notably Wisdom's 2015 World Championship runner-up finish. Little stood in the way of the team as they accumulated a 9-1 regular season record and rolled to an undefeated first place finish in the playoffs. This earned a berth in the 2017 Spring Promotion tournament, where Misfits defeated FC Schalke 04 in the final qualifying round after an opening loss to Origen.
Prior to the start of the following LCS season, Wisdom and Selfie departed the team and were replaced by former KT Rolster star KaKAO and former Origen and Unicorns of Love mid laner PowerOfEvil.

On November 20, Riot Games announced Misfits Gaming as one of the ten partner teams for the LEC 2019 Spring Split.[1]
