Sebastian "niQ" Robak is a League of Legends esports player, previously mid laner for Illuminar Gaming.
Biography[edit]
Known as a top Polish player in the Defense of the Ancients scene, niQ represented Poland at ESWC 2011 in Paris with Time-Out.
Season 2[edit]
niQ then moved on to League of Legends, eventually joining Team Acer.PL mid-season, as their top laner under the alias 760. His first major tournament with the team was ECC Poland, though the team did not make it out of their group. This was followed by the Season 2 Regional Finals, where he and the team were knocked out by SK Gaming in the quarterfinals of the tournament. After Team Acer.PL's roster was released, niQ joined The Mighty Midgets as the team's jungler.
With his new team, he competed at DreamHack Winter 2012, but could not make it past the group stage. Despite this, the team's roster was picked up by mousesports soon after. The team left the organization just a month later.
Season 3[edit]
After a break from the competitive scene, niQ joined Anexis eSports. Anexis' roster decided to leave the organization and reform Kiedyś Miałem Team yet again. Just 2 days later, the roster decided to join Team Infused. With this organization, they won the CyberGamer SteelSeries Challenge before leaving to return to KMT once again.
A 2nd place finish for niQ and the team, at the Gamescom Spring Promotion Qualifier behind Copenhagen Wolves resulted in the roster leaving for H2k-Gaming. After a few days, niQ decided to leave the team.
2014 Season[edit]
After another break from the scene, niQ joined Pulse Esports as the team's mid laner. With Pulse, he played in Challenger Spring Series #1, but the team then left the organization to join Departed. The roster was acquired soon after by Denial eSports.Europe. With Denial, he finished 2nd in 2014 Black Monster Cup Europe Spring and competed in the Challenger Spring Series #2 where the team came in 2nd and qualified for the Challenger Spring Playoffs. Denial then came in 3rd in the playoffs, and Due to this, niQ and the team participated in the LCS Summer Promotion, but lost to Copenhagen Wolves in their promotion match-up. After this, niQ decided to leave the team.
He moved on to join Gambit Gaming for the following Summer Split, replacing Alex Ich. niQ's first split in the LCS would not be too easy for him. Gambit struggled throughout, with niQ being the only player participating in every week of the split. The team finished in 7th place, meaning that they would have to fight for their LCS status in the Spring Promotion. niQ and Gambit held on to their place in the LCS, beating SK Gaming Prime in their promotion match-up.
2015 Season[edit]
Due to being fan-voted in, niQ and Gambit Gaming took their place at IEM Cologne. They managed to win the tournament after beating Counter Logic Gaming in the final.
niQ participated in the 2015 EU LCS Spring Split with the team, but was replaced by Betsy mid-split. He then went on to join HWA Gaming, and returned to his old name, niQ760.[25]
