North Carolina State University is a college in Raleigh, North Carolina. The team formerly competed under the names "NCSU Team Alpha" and "NCSU Prime", and now goes by Varsity at NC State.
This iteration of the team was formed in August 2015 when mid laner Flamejin started recruiting others to form a collegiate League team. As a result, a roster of mostly freshman rose up to defeat the existing LoL team at the time, and is now in its fourth year of amateur and collegiate scene competition. The first roster was composed of Whoppers, Pluckin Penguin, Flamejin, ShadowVisions, and Unreall1.
