Nicholas "nubbypoohbear" Harlan is an American League of Legends player who is currently the coach for Enemy eSports.

Biography

Nicholas "Nubbypoohbear" Harlan was boring in Santa Maria, CA, and started gaming when he was about 5 years old. He started playing League of Legends when friends referred him to the game, and he switched away from Warcraft 3. At one point in time, Nicholas was working as a bank teller and attending community college, but upon breaking ribs, he returned to gaming.

Nicholas's League of Legends competitive history started with a team called Epic Charmanders that he played on with friends, competing in Go4LoLs. During Season 1, their team was sponsored by Complexity. After leaving Complexity, Nicholas founded Team Orbit with Yazuki and Nientonsoh, picking up Hai and LemonNation as well. His next team was 1 Trick Ponies, which renamed to DoubleBuff, then Denial eSports.West, and finally Napkins in Disguise.

On December 23rd, 2012, George "Zekent" Liu admitted on Reddit that his team, Absolute Legends, had used ghosting to cheat in their first game in the IPL Online Qualifier against Team Dynamic, stating "We know that it was wrong and we feel obligated to formally post an apology before **** hits the fan.". Absolute Legends lost the BO3 against TD.[1][2]

On January 3rd, 2013, Riot Games announced on their community forum that nubbypoohbear and his teammates Robert "ROBERTxLEE" Lee, Nicholas "Nubbypoohbear" Harlan and Johnny "Unstoppable" Tran had been disqualified from participating in the Riot Season 3 North American Ranked 5v5 Online Qualifier and final Offline Qualifier.[3]
