Andrew "Rosey" Rose is a retired League of Legends esports player, previously support for Bombers.
Biography[edit]
Andrew "Rosey" Rose is from Melbourne, Australia.
League of Legends Career[edit]
Rosey first played League of Legends on the NA server before the Oceania server existed. His first team was Carnage, which became his avenue into the early competitive scene, thanks to Shiphtur. He played jungle and toplane with the team, and then when he joined SQL in late 2011 he switched to jungle as his primary role.
In early 2012, Rosey joined Mindfreak eSports, where he played with Spookz, then the team's AD carry and future teammate on The Chiefs e-Sports Club. Rosey played jungle, mid, and AD carry with MindFreak.
Later on in the year, Rosey left Mindfreak eSports and joined Chiefs Rowing Club. The atmosphere on the team wasn't as serious as other teams, and he and his teammates just played to enjoy the game. The team stayed together for part of 2012 into 2013.
In February 2013, Rosey joined Immunity as a sub, later moving to the starting roster as their support player. It was a transition from the AD carry role, but because he was accustomed to what an AD carry player would want out of a support, he was able to build a strong synergy with Raydere. He has also experimented with playing AP champions in the support role. When Immunity renamed to Chiefs, Rosey stuck with the team.
2015 Season[edit]
In May 2015, Rosey left Chiefs, after over 600 consecutive days of playing with that exact lineup and almost 1000 days playing with Raydere as his AD carry.[17] He was replaced by EGym.[18] He then joined Sin Gaming as their top laner. After playing out a split with Sin Gaming with them ending just outside the playoffs, Rosey stepped down from the position. [19] On the 12th of October, Rosey rejoined Chiefs as a substitute. [20]
2016 Season[edit]
In January 2016, Rosey joined Chiefs Black, a newly-formed sister team to Chiefs, for the Oceanic Challenger Series. Chiefs Black went nearly undefeated in the regular season before continuing on to go completely undefeated in the OCS Playoffs and OPL Promotion Tournament, winning their promotion match 3-0 over Infernum Gaming. Because the Chiefs organization already had a team in the OPL, the roster transferred to Tainted Minds for the OPL Split 2.
Trivia[edit]
- Favorite game outside of League of Legends is CS:GO.
- Has played every role in a competitive setting.
