Marcin "Selfie" Wolski is a mid laner for H2k-Gaming. He was previously known as Kori. His name was previously stylized as SELFIE.

Biography

2014 Season

SELFIE first entered the competitive scene as a sub for MeetYourMakers under the name CHUYOU. During his time with the team, he subbed in the SCAN EUW Winter Invitational, where MYM came in 3rd after losing toCloud 9 Europe in the semifinals. After also subbing for the team in a number of successful Go4LoL cups, he decided to leave, after just a month with the team.

Soon after, he changed his name to SELFIE and joined LCS team SUPA HOT CREW as a replacement for Moopz, in time to play the last 3 weeks of the Spring Split. However, the split was not a success for the team, placing 7th overall. Their performance in the split meant that they would have to play in the Summer Promotion Tournament and fight for their spot in the Summer Split. SELFIE and the rest of the SUPA HOT CREW beat Cloud 9 Eclipse in their promotion match, securing their place in the next split.

The Summer Split was a huge improvement on the previous split, with SUPA HOT CREW fininshing 3rd, behind Alliance and Fnatic. The whole team performed extremely well over the split, with SELFIE excelling on  Yasuo and  Ahri in particular. The team's performance landed them a place in the Summer Playoffs. SELFIE and the SHC lost to Team ROCCAT in the quarterfinals, but winning their 5th place match against Millenium meant that they would be sure of their place in the 2015 Spring Split.

2015 Season

After securing themselves a place in the next split of the LCS, SELFIE and the rest of the remaining SUPA HOT CREW roster was acquired by MeetYourMakers. At this point, SELFIE changed his name to Kori. Right before the start of the Spring Split, Kori left MYM, and Blizer300 filled in as his substitute. Though it was not revealed until after the fact, the reason for Kori's departure was that he was owed pay from the previous season still that he had not yet received. Kori recorded a phone conversation with manager Sebastian “Falli” Rotterdam in which both he and his mother were threatened if he did not continue to play with MYM.

Regardless, Kori flew to North America for a brief time in an attempt to play for Roar; however, he was told that he would be unable to play with them due to having signed a contract with MYM that held until January 2016.[1][2] With no option to play for another team, Kori returned to MYM after the second week of the LCS split and played with them in the third week; however, he was fined by the organization for his absence in the first two weeks.[3]

The final ruling from Riot on the situation was that MYM was guilty of violating rule 10.2.10 of the LCS ruleset and were fined € 5,000. Additionally, Falli was banned indefinitely from competing within the LCS as a manager or any other team position. It was also noted that Kori had never been unpaid while on MYM, only while on SHC.[4]
