- Stinger most likely references Sting, Bilbo Baggins's sword from J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth fantasy writings. Sting glowed blue when orcs were nearby, hence Stinger's blue color.
Nashor's Tooth is a recolored version of
Stinger, from blue to gold.

We took a look at Stinger while making the Trinity Force changes above. Its cost efficiency was higher than average for a component item, so we’re bringing it in line with other items around its price point.
