David "Yusui" Bloomquist is the mid laner for Echo Fox Academy.

Biography

David "Yusui" Bloomquist is from San Francisco, CA in the United States.

2014 Season

In May, Yusui joined Team Gyrations along with NintendudeX, Bee Sin, KEITHMCBRIEF, and 10q. The team played in the 2014 Fall NA Black Monster Cup and the play-in for the NACS Summer Series #2, where they lost to Denial. They disbanded shortly after.

2015 Preseason

Yusui joined Team LoLPro in November 2014. They qualified for the qualified for the Spring Expansion Tournament via the ranked 5's ladder. The team beat Team Fission in the first round 2-0 but then lost 0-2 to Team Coast in the second round.

2015 Season

Yusui joined Cloud9's new Challenger roster Cloud9 G2A along with Solo, Hard, LOD, and Stixxay in January 2015. Under the name C9 Charlies Angels, they placed fifth in the ranked 5's ladder leading up to the NACS Spring 2015 qualifier. Following Stixxay's move to CLG.Black, Fade joined the team, replacing Stixxay as starting support. The team defeated Roar and then Team Confound to qualify for the season. However, prior to the start of the season, it was revealed that the team had used a ringer in their matches against Team Confound. As a result, Cloud9 Tempest were disqualified from participating in the NACS, and Team Confound took their place. Additionally, Yusui and his teammates were all suspended from all Riot-sponsored League of Legends competition until the 2015 Summer Split.[1] This ban was lifted at the end of March, allowing Yusui and his Cloud9 Tempest teammates to play competitively starting on May 11.[2]

Now unbanned, Cloud9 Tempest participated in the NACS Summer Qualifier, with nearly the same roster as they had competed with in the spring qualifier, except that LOD moved to AD carry, and Sheep joined. After their first two rounds, Yusui was temporarily banned for four weeks for purchasing botted accounts, and Jintae was used as a substitute for the finals against CLG Black, which the team won, successfully qualifying for the Summer Season.[3]

Cloud9 Tempest finished in fourth place in the regular season, securing the last seed for the playoffs. However, they lost to Team Coast and then to Imagine, keeping them out of Spring Promotion Tournament eligibility. The day after their loss to Imagine, Yusui announced his retirement.[4]

2017 Season

In March 2017, Yusui announced his intent to return to competitive League of Legends.[5]
