About

The After Hours Gaming League (AHGL) is a team league that puts eleven leading technology companies in competition at League of Legends for both fun and a $5,000 grand prize donation by Day[9].tv to the winner's charity of choice. The league was announced by Day[9] on State of the Game Episode 42. The eleven teams competing are: Amazon, EA, Epic, Ernst & Young, FactSet, Gearbox, Google, Intel, Microsoft, Promethean World and Zappos.

Format

The league's format starts with a thirteen week, round-robin, stage followed by the top eight company teams playing in the championship bracket with the winners advancing to the Grand Finals for the $5,000 prize. The finals will be held at the Red Bull headquarters in Santa Monica, California.
