Overview[]
The 2017 EU League Championship Series is the fifth season of Europe's fully professional League of Legends league. In the playoffs, six teams compete in a single-elimination bracket for prize money and Championship Points.
Format[]
- Single elimination with a 3rd place match.
- 1st seeds of the Spring Season get a bye into the semifinals.
- 2nd and 3rd seeds of the Spring Season play in the quarterfinals.
- Higher seed of one group faces lower seed of the other group in the quarterfinals and semifinals.
- In the event both teams from a single group win their Quarterfinals, the #1 and #2 teams from that group can not meet in the Semifinals
- All matches are best of five.
