Overview[]
The 2015 NA LCS Spring Expansion is a one-time Expansion Tournament to determine the final two teams to make it into the 2015 NA LCS Spring Split. The six remaining teams from the Spring Promotion and the Challenger Series Playoffs face off against seven teams from the Ranked 5's Ladder for the last two spots in the 2015 NA LCS Spring Split.
Format[]
- Online
- Top 13 teams from the Ranked 5s Ladder are split into four brackets.
- Three teams pre-qualified who dropped from the Promotion Tournament, receiving byes.
- Three teams from the Challenger Series Playoffs.
- Seven teams from the Ranked 5's Ladder
- A match will be played to determine 5/6th seed from the Challenger Series
- Each match is a Best of Three.
- Each bracket winner advances to the Live Expansion.
- Top 13 teams from the Ranked 5s Ladder are split into four brackets.
- Live Expansion
- Double Elimination
- Each match is a Best of Five.
- The winners of the Winner's and Loser's Bracket qualify for the 2015 NA LCS Spring Split

$ 15,000 USD (Approximately € 12,981 EUR) is spread among the teams qualifying for the Challenger Series:

Initially Qualified Teams[]
- There were two waves of qualified teams - the first, teams that participated in Challenger Playoffs and/or the Spring Promotion Tournament. After four of these teams dropped out of the Expansion Tournament, the top twelve ranked 5's teams were invited; however, not all of these teams participated either. To see a list of teams that participated, see below.

- 1Though Team Coast and Team LoLPro are participating in the Promotion Tournament, they did lose their initial seed from the Promotion Tournament and instead qualified via the ranked ladder.
- 2XDG Gaming and Denial eSports have been disbanded prior the tournament.
