San Diego State University (also known as SDSU) is a university in San Diego, California.

History[]

2012 Season[]

SDSU's first foray for their League of Legends team was the IvyLoL Season 2 Premier League where many schools from across Canada and the United States played against each other in what might be considered one of the first Collegiate tournaments. Their first match was against UC Irvine with an unknown roster. They lost 2-0 and exited the tournamnet.

2017 Season[]

After nearly a 5 year hiatus from entering anything, SDSU participated in the 2017 uLoL West Conference with an unknown roster. The team finished last place in their group with a record of 0-4 and did not advance to the next round.

2019 Season[]

Another break from participating in any tournaments passed and SDSU opted again to participate in the new 2019 CLOL Mountain West Conference. This was also the first time their roster was recorded with Anthony, Porom, Nicho1as, RPike, BTang, and Scacchi. The team suffered some lineup problems with BTang having to play both jungle and support to occupy empty space at times. After the Round Robin, SDSU finished tied for last in their group with a 1-3 record. The team's season did not end there however; shortly after the conclusion of their CLOL season they participated in the PvP.com Launch Event where they played against other schools from California alongside Echo Fox Academy, FlyQuest Academy, and Radiance. Slight roster changes were made with Anthony, Porom, and Nicho1as leaving, BTang moving to jungle, and Reeb plus Asian Bjerg joining to play top and mid respectively. These new additions did not prove to be effective as SDSU lost to Radiance 0-1 and finished the tournament in 5-8th place
