Overview[]
The Tencent Games Arena Grand Prix Winter 2012 is an offline event organized by Tencent Games. It will take place in Taicang, Jiangsu in November. Eight qualified teams will compete for a 350,000 CNY (~56,000 USD) prizepool. The finals will take place at the Tencent Games Carnival 2012 on the 25th of November 2012. In addition to the event matches, two show matches with Moscow Five will be played. The games are cast in chinese by JoKer,小蒼 and 虎妞.
Format[]
- Eight teams were divided into two groups of four
- Group stage was round robin, best of one matches
- In case of a tie, winners are determined by shortest match time
- Top two teams of each group advance to the bracket stage
- All bracket matches were best of three
